Very optimistic. Been using it for a week and am pleased with it — with hopes that it’ll provide me when a fuller looking beard as well as stimulate growth in areas where I am lacking. Through research it is highly recommended which makes me optimistic. The quality do the derma roller is excellent and comes with all components that you need to clean and stimulate hair growth as well as providing a nice metallic comb brush. Very happy with it so far.

I have used derma rollers from this brand before, so I already know they are very good quality and work really well. I ordered this hair and beard set for my husband who has an area on his face that doesn’t seem to grow beard hair very well, and he’s hoping to thicken it.The set comes with a 0.5mm derma roller. The item description doesn’t say the length of needles, and I had assumed 1.5mm because the photos show long needles, but it’s only 0.5mm. My husband isn’t able to feel the 0.5mm needles in the thick part of his beard, but he can feel them a little in the thinning area. After he’s been using this one for a while, I plan to get him a longer roller.The derma roller comes sealed, so I know it’s hygienic, and the plastic case has a soft matte exterior. The handle on the roller is the same soft matte finish as the case, and the curved shape makes it comfortable to hold. The roller spins smoothly, and the needles are thin, straight and evenly spaced.The set also includes a disinfectant spray which smells exactly like rubbing alcohol. I always soak my rollers in alcohol before using, but a spray is so much easier to use. It’s especially great for my husband because if something is too much of a hassle to use then he just won’t use it.The promoter serum is a clear thin gel like liquid. It has no smell at all, which is great for people with fragrance sensitivities, and it absorbs fully into the skin with no sticky residue. There is even a small metal beard comb in the kit as well. My husband has only used the kit a few times, and while he hasn’t yet noticed a difference, it also hasn’t caused any type of bad skin reaction which is good because he has sensitive skin that reacts to pretty much anything.Overall, considering the kit includes high quality items including a roller, spray, serum and comb, I feel this is an excellent value.

I have to say, I got this mostly for the roller. The roller has a lot more fine needles than other's I've used and are a longer size in length. Obviously, tis is to go in through the beard and the kit comes with many other products for it, such as the come, and spray, and serum. It is good to use a hydrating serum with minimal ingredients after derma rolling to help it soak in. The kit looks good and has a lot more items in it than other beard kits I've seen floating around.
